"Lafcadio Coffee (Bunko-style)" launched in September 2025. This original blend is themed around "coffee that makes you feel close to Yakumo." While Yakumo is famous for his ghost stories, his personality, life, and philosophies are still not widely known. When you open the box, you can enjoy a one-page ghost story set in Matsue and an accompanying anecdote about Yakumo. Like the popular "Lafcadio Coffee," which has been around for 37 years, this product was created with the cooperation of Mr. Bon Koizumi, Lafcadio Hearn's great-grandson.

In addition to works by Matsue's craft artists and potters, we also sell works related to Lafcadio Hearn. For example, there are matryoshka dolls featuring motifs from the "Kwaidan" series, and new-flavored amber sugar (kohakuto) made with Shussai ginger, conceived by Matsue's long-established Japanese confectionery shop "San'eido."
