Japanese-made Chasen (Tea Whisk) - Kankyuan - Coarse-tined

¥7,810 ¥-7,810 割引

This is a Takayama chasen (tea whisk) from Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture, made from black bamboo, which the Mushanokoji-Senke school uses for thick tea (koicha). Before use, run it under hot water to soften the tines. After use, drain excess water thoroughly and dry completely in a well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight and high temperatures and humidity. Using a chasen-kusenaoshi (whisk shaper) will help maintain its beautiful shape for a long time.
