This particular piece is inspired by Lafcadio Hearn's "Kwaidan."

◎What is Lafcadio Hearn's "Kwaidan"?
This book brings to life legends and ghost stories from various parts of Japan, as told by Hearn's wife, Setsu, adding his unique interpretations to create richly evocative literary works.

2024 marks the 120th anniversary of the publication of "Kwaidan." Additionally, in the autumn of 2025, a TV drama modeled after Koizumi Setsu, Lafcadio Hearn's wife and a native of Matsue City, will begin airing.
