Kaiho Yagi's characteristic gentle brushwork expresses a serene congratulatory sentiment. Peaches have been considered a symbol of good fortune, wishing for healthy growth and happiness, since ancient times. This bowl, replicating that very shape, adds a warm splendor to tea ceremonies during the Hina Matsuri (Doll's Festival).
