This is a "Manjukiku" (Tagetes) tea bowl made by Rakunyu Yoshimura of Kyoto. It is a gorgeous tea bowl with gold leaf, featuring blooming Tagetes flowers. Tagetes, with their flower meanings of "longevity" and "happiness," have been cherished as an auspicious motif since ancient times. Brushstrokes are depicted on the inside.
