This is a teacup specifically designed for Botebote-cha, created by Emi Fukushima of the Hinokawa-yaki pottery studio in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture.
It is made from Kimachi stone and wood ash, and features Irabo glaze.
Its deep shape makes it easy to whisk Botebote-cha, and it can also be used as a matcha bowl or even a rice bowl.
