This is the "Yunomi Shironeri" (white kneaded) from Nankei Touen in Mie Prefecture. "Shironeri" is a natural color created by the changes in minerals during firing. It contains no pigments. The color is a pale gray-beige, a gentle and inclusive shade that is easy on the eyes, and its simple design will not grow tiresome. It blends well into various spaces.The inside is glazed, and the outside is unglazed, making it non-slip when held. You can enjoy the beautiful color of sencha and hojicha. Since it uses non-absorbent clay, there's no concern about odors.
