We have been approached by TSK San-in Chuo Television, and as a result, special matcha daifuku made with the Fumaiko-named matcha "Naka-no-Shiro" will be available at retailers and supermarkets in the San-in region starting September 1st.
TSK San-in Chuo Television (Head Office: Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Choemon Tanabe, hereinafter TSK), a commercial broadcaster, and Asahi Shokuhin Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Nankoku City, Kochi Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Takahisa Takeuchi, hereinafter Asahi Shokuhin), a major food wholesaler, have developed two types of "Matcha Daifuku" series as the second phase of their joint project aimed at regional revitalization. These daifuku luxuriously use "Naka-no-Shiro," a brand matcha from Nakamura Chaho, a long-established tea shop founded in 1884 in Matsue City, a tea-producing region, bearing the name of Matsudaira Fumaiko. "Matcha Daifuku Koshi An" and "Matcha Daifuku Koshi An Cream" will be available sequentially at supermarkets and mass retailers in Shimane and Tottori Prefectures from early September 2025.
