[Important] Suspension of sales and revision of prices and contents for some sencha products

Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Nakamura Chaho.

We will be discontinuing some products and revising prices and contents effective June 1, 2026.

In recent years, due to the rapid increase in demand for matcha overseas, an increasing number of tea farmers in Japan have been switching from producing sencha to matcha ingredients.

Along with this, the procurement environment for raw tea leaves has changed significantly.

To maintain our current product lineup and prices, we have endeavored to systematically store raw material inventory and explore new procurement channels.

However, the current new tea market is in an unprecedented and unique situation, making it difficult to consistently provide the same quality and quantity as in previous years.

Although it pains us to do so, we will be discontinuing some products and revising prices and contents as detailed below.

 

【Discontinued Products】

Komakage, Yaegaki, Hinokawa, Kisen, Botan, Netto Gyokuro

*The discontinued products listed above can be purchased until May 31. However, "Kisen" and "Netto Gyokuro" are unavailable due to a shortage of raw materials.

The reopening date for discontinued products is currently undecided.

We will inform you as soon as there is a prospect for reopening.

Also, all products with revised prices and contents will be unified to 60g.

Despite these circumstances, Nakamura Chaho will continue to cherish traditional flavors,

and strive even harder to deliver tea that brings joy to everyone.
